About The Studio

The Studio is a community space that encourages self-guided making and learning. Whether you need room to spread out to complete a project for home or access to equipment, GPL has you covered! The Studio includes 3 large work areas, 3 editing computers, 37 craft and STEM kits that can be checked out for use in the room, and a variety of community equipment available. We also have a fully stocked Recording Studio. Not sure where to start? GPL is here to help you get started on your own making journey!  Please note that an active GPL library card is required to use the Studio Makerspace.

The Studio is open the same hours as the library unless the library has planned a program or special event.  Passive activities and work tables are available during all open hours. However kits and community equipment (laser cutter and cricut) are only available select hours as outlined below. Check out our programming calendar or Facebook for more details.

Monday: 12pm - 5pm
Tuesday: 12pm - 7:45pm
Wednesday: 12pm - 7:45pm
Thursday: 12pm - 7:45pm
Friday: 12pm - 4:45pm
Saturday: LAST Saturday of each month only - 12pm - 4:45pm
