Studio Makerspace Associate

Do you enjoy learning new things?  Are you a people person? Then we're looking for you!  The Studio at Greenwood Public Library is a community space that offers opportunities for self-guided making and exploring.  We're looking for a dynamic, friendly, and creative individual to help our makers get the most out of each visit.  The Studio Associate will assist patrons in the use of makerspace equipment and kits; train patrons and staff on the use of new resources; and collaborate with Adult Services to develop and market innovative events for all ages.

Responsibilities
- Assists patrons with the use of library equipment
- Assists with collection development of kits and equipment in The Studio
- Maintains The Studio kits and collections including website content
- Prepares statistical and narrative reports

Qualifications
- College Degree
- One year of teaching or related experience preferred
- Previous experience with the arts, video production, and graphic arts a plus
- Committed to excellence in customer service
- Competency in computer based technology

Hours
20 hours per week including some scheduled evenings and Saturdays
